I realise that there’s already a generation younger than myself who wouldn’t have a clue where that headline was culled from. For them, that’s David Bellamy visiting Nigel’s Eco Store when I was running a stand at The Sustainability Show last month.

I was pleased to see nigelsecostore.com getting a mention for this one in yesterday’s Observer. I started out by stocking the kind of items that appealed to me. As time’s gone on, I’m trying to add more items for the whole family - like the Paperpod Rocket.

This story in The Guardian tickled my fancy. Andy Pag, a 24-year-old Londoner, is planning to drive from the UK to Mali in a lorry powered… by chocolate.
