I was a bit disappointed when he claimed global warming as "poppycock" though. Wikipedia cites "In May 2007 Bellamy and Jack Barrett jointly authored a paper in the refereed Civil Engineering journal of the Institution of Civil Engineers entitled 'Climate stability: an inconvenient proof'." So what's the go? Did you discuss his position with him? What's his opinion now, given his strong and recent skepticism?
