Lights save tonnes of CO2
The Australians are making it illegal to use old-style light bulbs, the incandescent ones. By 2009 everyone is going to have to use eco bulbs like the ones we're selling here. Greenpeace reckons the UK could save 5.1 billion tonnes of CO2 a year if we did that. They start their press release with the question, "How many politicians does it take to change a light bulb?" Of course the correct answer to that question is, "Two. One to change it and another to change it back again.
