A double-blind study evaluated the effect of an ionic charge on plaque and gingivitis during toothbrushing. There was a statistically significant improvement in overall gingival health for the group using ionic HyG compared to the control group.

Using the hyG feels just like any other toothbrush - there is no noise or vibration which makes it comfortable even for sensitive teeth. You can use it on orthodontic braces, crowns, and bridges and still enjoy the amazing results - 60% of hyG users said that their teeth felt cleaner, smoother and more polished from the very first time they used it. It may be used with or without toothpaste.

The hyG Ionic Toothbrush uses an integral lithium battery (non-replaceable), which will last 3-4 years of normal brushing. As it is battery powered, rather than light activated, the hyG will still work well in dimly lit conditions.

It features a small battery indicator light and replacement heads are available in sets of 2.

Dentists recommend all brush heads are replaced every 3 months or when the bristles begin to spread out.
