Dimensions: 52 x 18mm

Waterpebble sits by the plug hole and monitors water as it goes down.

Waterpebble is water activated and times your shower, encouraging you not to spend too long.

Waterpebble uses green, amber and red lights to alert you to how long you've been showering, and gives you 4 minutes in total:
3 minutes Green
30 seconds Orange
30 seconds Red

If you don't get out of the shower, Waterpebble will start to flash each Led consecutively for a further 2 mins , and then will power down to standby mode waiting for the next shower to start.

How to use the Water Pebble
  • Press the reset button. Three lights will flash.
  • Place in the shower near the plughole. Shower as normal. The lights will flash green, amber and red to show you how much time you have spent in the shower.
  • Then each time you shower, Water Pebble lights up to indicate: Green - 3 minutes; Amber - 30 seconds; Red - 30 seconds and time to stop.
  • Water Pebble can be reset at any time.
  • Water Pebble takes a standard lithium 3v battery, which can be replaced when it runs down.
  • Water Pebble can be recycled at the end of its life.

Battery life of the waterpebble will depend largely on the amount of use it gets per day:
  • 1-2 showers per day Battery 18-24 months
  • 3-4 Showers per day Battery 12-18 months
  • 4-5 showers per day Battery 9-12 months

Saving water and energy in the shower
  • We spend nearly 20% of our energy bill on heating water, and most of that is in the bathroom.
  • Spending less time in the shower, and turning the heat down in the shower can help to save you money.
  • A power shower may seem like it uses less water, but can often use more than a bath.
  • By spending just one minute less in the shower, a family of four would save 12,000 litres of water per year. (Source: Directgov)
  • By spending just over 3 and a half minutes less in the shower, a family of four would be able to save 180 a year, and reduce the amount of energy for heating water for the shower by 20%.

  • See how Nigel got on with the Water Pebble - very easy to use, and brilliantly effective.

Not bad  It wasnt bad but first time I used it I spent 3 hours in shower to make sure next time I get plenty of time to shower. I like my loooong showers :)    -

A great product, guaranteed to save you water  When I bought this I was sceptical as to whether it could really work, but after seeing it on Channel 4, I splashed out. It's nice and sturdy, and really simple, and definately works. I used to spend ages half-asleep in the shower before work but now I'm in and out nice and quickly!    Kit England - Alston, Cumbria

Its so cute   I fell in love with the design and thought will it really work. I was bias from the outset so I left it to the rest of the household to use it Result was 100% approval and what reduction of use buy it for your own sanity    Dee - UK

nice little product  The unit appears to work via 4 black dots on the side. When water is flowing across them it completes the circuit turning it on. It is slightly smaller then a standard bath plug and seems pretty strong (bottom is rubber coated). I don't think you can change the battery, but it is recyclable at EOF.    Paul - Midlands
