South Downs charcoal helps protect woodland through ongoing woodland management, and it has been used by our ancestors for over 6,000 years.

Burning wood or charcoal is pretty much carbon neutral.

NB South Downs Charcoal has to be handled with a bit more care as it breaks easily.
