The protective silicone sleeve on Megamanbulbs does not allow the mercury to escape - making them extremely safe.They are also RoHS compliant (i.e. they Restrict Hazardous Substances) - at the heart of the Megaman factory is a lamp tube recycling facility, and a treatment facility for wastewater.
At the end of their life, these energy saving light bulbs should be recycled (easily) at any household recycling site. (This is a big difference between tungsten and CFLs - you can actually recycle CFLs whilst Tungsten bulbs just go in the bin.)

I don't mind the light coming on grey cloudy days it brightens the day. We use it in a Victorian street lamp we had converted from gas to electric. -

How We Send Things
We send all orders by Royal Mail, or by courier if it's heavy. Royal Mail deliver Monday to Saturday, couriers deliver Monday to Friday.
Deliveries are usually made between 9am and 5.30pm. A specific time slot cannot be specified with any of our delivery options.
Please be aware that during our sales or promotions, or when there are circumstances beyond our control such as when there's snow on the roads, delivery may take longer.
