You might also be interested to learn that Megaman energy saving light bulbs have a mercury content of less than 3mg which is an industry first. The protective silicone sleeve on Megamanbulbs does not allow the mercury to escape - making them extremely safe.They are also RoHS compliant (i.e. they Restrict Hazardous Substances) - at the heart of the Megaman factory is a lamp tube recycling facility, and a treatment facility for wastewater.

At the end of their life, these energy saving light bulbs should be recycled (easily) at any household recycling site. (This is a big difference between tungsten and CFLs - you can actually recycle CFLs whilst tungsten bulbs, you can't.)
