Extremely hard and long lasting, this rubber wood chopping board has been made from end grain pieces, specially assembled to keep its shape and remain flat and smooth.

Rubber wood has anti-bacterial properties, in addition the board has been treated with a protective coating, and rounded finger grooves make carrying the board around the kitchen safer.

Also known as Malaysian Oak or White Mahogany, Rubber wood is a great eco material as it is a by-product of the latex industry, making use of wood from trees which are no longer producing latex. The trees are cut down after 25 years, and replaced with new trees.

Keep your chopping board clean by wiping with a damp cloth.

Treat it by occasionally wiping with a high quality vegetable oil.

Not suitable for the dishwasher. Do not submerge in water.
