A Rotamate cover can be easily removed in a couple of minutes, or fitted permanently to your clothes line and left there on a long term basis.
A Rotamate washing line cover doesn't promise 100% coverage in extreme downpours, but like an umbrella, it'll keep your washing dry more often (read more below).
Leaving the Rotamate covers on, even when it's not raining, maximises the protection of hanging laundry, and does not affect the rate of drying. Plus the covers can protect laundry from the bleaching effect of the sun, and any unfortunate bird missiles!
Rotary clothes lines will fold away easily with Rotamate covers still attached, and they have been designed with variable attaching lengths to cater for different size washing lines - it's a one-size-fits-all.
Using a Rotamate cover means you can use your tumble dryer less often - saving energy and money!
NB doesn't fit wall mounted airers.

What if it is windy and the rain comes in at an angle?Even if the rain is coming in at an angle, Rotamate will still keep the majority of your washing dry. Rotamate behaves like a big umbrella for your washing. Imagine standing in the wind and rain with an umbrella, from the waist down you might get a bit wet. Now imagine you are outside in the wind and rain with no umbrella - all of you would get soaked. When it's raining and windy at the same time, so that the rain comes in at an angle, some garments at the outer edge on one side of the rotary line will get damp but that will be all, the majority of the laundry will stay dry.
How to fit- Ensure your rotary clothes line is secure in the ground and not loose before fitting
- Place one cover over the top of each of the lines, drop the square section over the lower lines. Repeat with each cover.
- Attach one of the separate elastic straps to the arm of the frame
- Use the cup in the elastic to grip the end of the arm
- Secure with the velcro on the strap
