Once you have hardened off the young plants, transplant them in their biodegradable paper pots without damaging their tender roots.

Cut newspaper into strips 8cm x 57cm

Roll strip around potter and fold excess paper over end

Press end with folded in paper onto base to mould pot

Remove pot and fill with compost

Plant seedling or sow seeds directly

Paper pot will biodegrade when transplanted in the garden

Paper Potter pot size approx 4 1/2 cm in diameter and 5 cm high
