Handy Water Siphon Pump

easily recycle grey water into your garden

£19.99 inc. VAT

Reuse water from your home with this clever Drought Buster hand siphon pump. Use the siphon to pump water out of the bath, water butt or sink and use it to water your plants. At any time of year this is a great way to avoid wasting water, but it's especially useful during a hosepipe ban or drought order.

Quantity:

Length: 3 metres

As seen in the Daily Telegraph.

The water siphon can also be used to empty cisterns, blocked sinks and dishwashing machines. It stores neatly and can be used at any time. Best of all, you can use your hosepipe to move recycled or rain water, even during a hosepipe ban.

Put one end in your bath, water butt, or pond, connect the other end to a hose, squeeze the pump and let gravity siphon your waste water onto your garden.

Saving Water
Water is a precious resource, and with a changing climate - especially dry winters - which increase the risk of droughts and shortages, we need to be more careful and make the most of our water.

A garden sprinkler or hose can use as much water in an hour as a family of four use in a day, which is why hosepipe bans come into force in summer.

Features
  • Easy: a few squeezes of the hand pump gets it going, then it runs by itself.
  • Efficient: empties baths in minutes and can be left unattended.
  • Flexible: fill a water butt, wash the car or use straight onto the garden.
  • Convenient: attaches to any standard garden hose (use the standard connector - included). A sucker with a hook holds the end of the hose under water.
  • Effective: recycles water - saving money, your garden and the planet.

  • Kit contains:
  • 3 metres of high quality mesh hose
  • Standard connector
  • Sucker with hook to hold pipe under water
  • Marine quality, robust, easy to squeeze, primer pump

  • Please note: your garden MUST be lower than the water source - at least 12 inches. The greater the difference in height between the source and end of the hose, the faster the flow of water. You can add up to 10-20m of hose, but bear in mind the longer the hose, the slower the flow will be, especially if it is curled up.

    How to use:
    • Make sure the water has cooled down
    • Connect the long end of the siphon to your garden hose
    • Put the long end of the siphon and hose out of the bathroom window
    • Put the short end into the water and fix the suction cap with hook to the base of the bath to hold the pipe in place
    • Squeeze and the bulb firmly and release, and let it expand completely. Repeat a few times until the siphon starts
    • The water must be pumped up to the highest point before the flow will start

Just what was needed!   When the water rower needed emptying last week, it was perfect for the job! I'd recommend this pump to anyone wanting to move a large quantity of water.    Magdalen - Crewe

brilliant  I love this product, it is so good to use and will save my garden when summer eventually starts.    -

Brilliant  The water siphon arrived just in time for the lifting of our regional hose pipe ban! But only a wimp doesn't recycle their bath water...even in this crap weather. It takes about a dozen pumps to get going and empties the bath in about 15 mins. Thank you!    Nick -

Brilliant product  I bought this for a (senior) friend who has a water butt without a tap. She could not believe how efficient and EASY it was to use. She was really impressed and its made watering her garden a doddle! so top marks    Sally Walton - St Leonards on Sea

This product is a MUST for any family house!  We have been looking for this very thing for a long time. I even thought I might try & make one. But the separate pieces alone cost way for than £20. We have two little Ones so do a bath every night. We want to reuse the water, this is much easier than carrying watering can downstairs!! Brill!    James - London

Great product   Very useful around the garden.Highly recomend.    Caroline Murtagh - West Sussex

Excellent  With an impending draught this summer and a garden to keep alive, an alterntive plan was required. This siphon allows us to collect our bath and shower water with ease. Sent link onto 5 friends already!    -
