Just over 3 years old, and based at Poets Corner in Hove. We sell low carbon and environmentally friendly products. We’re a small and determined team - and anyone joining has a unique opportunity to take on real responsibility and gain valuable hands-on experience of working in a business.

The role:
We are looking for someone to help build a profile for Nigel’s Eco Store in communities across the web - in blogs, forums, web 2.0 communities (like Facebook etc), mobile channels, creating useful weblinks - with a view to building traffic to www.nigelsecostore.com.

You will help to generate content, and implement activity - working closely with the other members of the team responsible for Marketing and PR.

Over the three months, you will learn about:

how a small business operates

the process of campaign planning, execution and measurement

the different roles of the marketing mix

Skills needed:
Self starter interested and excited by the communication opportunities of the web, and a user of community sites. Sufficiently IT literate to be able to input and upload information/images.

Allowance:
This is an unpaid internship but we will cover reasonable travel expenses. A reference will be supplied at the end of the term.
