At the end of its useful life, this energy saving lightbulb should be recycled at any household recycling site. (This is a big difference between tungsten bulbs and compact flourescents (CFLs) - you can actually recycle CFLs whilst tungsten bulbs can only go in the bin.)

Whilst every attempt has been made to ensure these bulbs work with the majority of dimmers (and this bulb will work with most standard dimmer switches) some dimmers may require more than one bulb to be used to meet their minimum wattage - if in doubt, please check the instructions on your dimmer switch). NB will work with most slider dimmers and touch dimmers.

Very good Despite problems with getting the right switch I am very happy with the results. The varilight touch dimmer switch has made this a most worthwhile purchase but beware the standard dimmer switches! vaughan

Good product Quite expensive, but works well with my dimmable switches. The bulb is well packaged to prevent damage while in transit. I hope they last as long as advertised...

important note Be aware that this low energy bulb won't work with most standard dimmer switches. There are maximum and minimum requirements and most standard switches are rated at 60 watt minimum which means you'll need to run at least three bulbs on one circuit.
