This 11 watt Megaman GU10 low energy lightbulb uses revolutionary reflector technology to give a 50 watt equivalent warm white light that will last for 15,000 hours. Beneath the translucent finish of each low energy bulb lies state-of-the-art technology.

With an integrated cooling-tube, a high luminous efficiency is maintained throughout the bulb life. Bulb size is 76mm x 50mm (length x width) - and it'll fit in any standard GU10 fitting.

Our top quality Megaman low energy fluorescent GU10s lightbulbs are longer than conventional halogen spotlights, but offer a huge energy saving. Their long life helps make these CFLs (compact fluorescents) the healthiest and safest for the environment. Compatible with a 240v (mains) GU10 fitting. The stem of the bulb is slimmer than rival brands, making these easier to fit into standard fittings.

You might also be interested to learn that Megaman energy saving light bulbs have a mercury content of less than 3mg which is an industry first. They are also RoHS compliant (i.e. they Restrict Hazardous Substances) - at the heart of the Megaman factory is a lamp tube recycling facility, and a treatment facility for wastewater.

At the end of their life, these energy saving light bulbs should be recycled (easily) at any household recycling site. (This is a big difference between tungsten and CFLs - you can actually recycle CFLs whilst tungsten bulbs, you can't.)

GU10 Low Energy Bulb I have now replaced all my halogen bulbs with these and have no intention of going back. Like all econo bulbs, they are slow to start up, but after about 10 secs, there is a acceptable amount of light coming from them. The initial price 'hit' is steep, but they do last a hell of a lot longer Allan D. Robins
