The natural latex used to make the bladders in these balls is sourced from sustainably and responsibly managed plantations in South India and Sri Lanka.

They do tend to lose a bit of air naturally, so will need pumping up now and again - this is normal, and also happens with the best professional footballs.

Ethletic pay a Fair Trade premium to the rubber producers in Sri Lanka, and the balls are produced under a Fair Trade arrangement in Pakistan: The Fair Trade premium there helps pay for health insurance for the workers and a micro credit scheme.

  Great as gifts - easy to pack  I took a couple to Botswana to give to the staff on the safari. Easy to pack and then inflate when you get there. My only quibble - each football comes with a pump, but it doesn't say so in the description, so I bought an extra pump unnecessarily.    Ros - Sheffield
