Why use reusable gift wrapping?
  • At Christmas alone, we use11,000 tonnes of wrapping paper, from around 66, 0000 trees.
  • Due to poor paper quality, shiny finish and sticky tape, most of this cannot be recycled.
  • Plastic carrier bags are made from polythene, which comes from non-renewable fossil fuels. The majority of them still end up in landfill, taking hundreds of years to break down.
